KALAASEEN SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES  - MALAYSIA

Maldives State Shipping Company Pvt Ltd is pleased to announce the “Kalaaseen” scholarship opportunities for 2025, aimed at  young individuals to pursue careers in the maritime industry. The following scholarship opportunities are for Maldivians only.

Intake: March 2025

Course Duration: 3 years 4 months

Entry Requirement: IGCSE ‘O’ Level or any other equivalent qualification.

Required Minimum of 5 (Five) Credits:

-    Credit in Mathematics, Science/ Technical, 3 other subjects including  credit in English language.

General Requirements

-          Must be single and aged between 18 and 25 years.

-          Required to be physically and mentally fit, as certified by a medical practitioner approved by the Malaysia Marine Department.

-          For male applicants: Minimum height of 158 cm, weight of 48 kg, and BMI between 18.5 and 24.9.

-          For female applicants: Minimum height of 155 cm, weight of 42 kg, and BMI between 18.5 and 24.9.

-          Must not have color blindness.

-          Must have good eyesight with a visual acuity of 6/6.

Bond:  Upon completion of the program 18 months service in Maldives State Shipping (MSS).
