The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the - Maldives Clean Environment Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for Consultancy services for developing a socio-economic impact assessment (SEIA) for the Implementation of Single use plastic Phase-out Plan in the Maldives. - 2nd Invitation
The Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy re-invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested consulting firms should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
The tasks to be undertaken by the consultant are to be conducted in close collaboration with the Waste Management and Pollution Control Department of the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy and relevant stakeholders as necessary.
The shortlisting criteria is given in the TOR.
A consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the Consultancy Qualification based selection (CQS) method set out in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for Borrowers under Investment Project Financing, dated July 1, 2016 and revised 2017.
Expressions of interest must be emailed to the following email address [email protected] by 1300 hrs of January 12, 2025. Email must be subjected as: “Expression of Interest - Consultancy services for developing a socio-economic impact assessment (SEIA) for the Implementation of Single use plastic Phase-out Plan in the Maldives”.
The TOR for the consulting services is published in the National Gazette with this REOI.
