Job Opportunity: Project Coordinator (Consultant Position)

The Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Coordinator as a consultant for the implementation of the plan for sports development.

Employment Type:
One year contract

Key Qualifications

Minimum education qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Professional training with certification from a recognized institution, specializing in sports and sports management.
• Candidates holding the International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Program (ICECP) qualification will receive preferential consideration.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Maldivian sports sector, including roles at a policy decision-making level.
• Proven track record in leading teams and collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Previous experience managing similar projects will be considered a significant advantage.
• Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite and online tools, are required.
• Experience engaging with government officials and navigating public sector frameworks is a highly desirable asset.

About the Role

The Project Coordinator (Consultant) will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating key projects within the execution of the sports development strategy. This includes strategic planning, stakeholder management, and efficient execution of project deliverables. The role involves close collaboration with diverse teams to ensure effective communication across all levels. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the development of sports initiatives in the Maldives. The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Secretary General of the Maldives Olympic Committee, ensuring Execution of the Sports Development Strategy.
