The Government of the Republic of Maldives through Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development (MoHELSD) is implementing the Sustainable and Integrated Labour Services (SAILS) Project funded by the World Bank. The project seeks to establish an active labour market programmes to improve employment outcomes of the Maldivians. As part of enhancing employability of Maldivian worker an employment scheme (ES) will be implemented through National Careers Service. To ensure ES scheme is accessible to all, government is planning to extend NCS operations throughout the Maldives. To support the implementation of ES scheme the Ministry wishes to contract a caseworker for National Careers Service at Hulhumale’.

Contract Duration
This is a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension with pipeline donor projects. Upon signing of the contract, 3 months shall be counted as the probationary period. The contract shall be renewed based on performance, need, and funding.
This contract is expected to commence in December 2024.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development now invites interested eligible individuals to submit their Expressions of Interest (EoI). Interested individuals must provide a cover letter, their CV with information demonstrating that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills, etc.), academic certificates, and relevant reference letters, covering the Key Qualifications listed in the Terms of Reference.
Deadline
The expressions of interest must be email to [email protected], no later than 1400hrs Maldivian time on 09th December 2024.
