MALDIVES CLEAN ENVIRONMENT PROJECT- MINISTRY OF CLIMATE CHANGE, ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY
Request for Expressions of Interest- Civil Engineer
The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives Clean Environment Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the services of a full-time service of a: Civil Engineer.
The main objective of this consultancy is to supervise and provide expert advice on civil works related projects undertaken for zone 2, 4 &5 island waste management centres and the Regional waste management centre at R.Vandhoo RWMF
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- To be eligible for consideration for this position the candidate must meet the requirements stated in the Clause 4. Eligibility and Qualification and Clause 5. Evaluation Criteria of the attached Terms of Reference.
The Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy thereby, invites interested individuals, who meet the requirements specified in the TORs to submit the following;
- Letter of Expression of Interest (EOI)
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) that demonstrates that the applicant is qualified to perform the services (including description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills etc.)
- Copy of National Identification Card
- Attested copies of Educational Certificates (copies taken from with accredited original certificates)
Application by a current civil servant must accompany a letter from the applicant’s current employer stating no-objection of releasing him/her from the job.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.

Successful candidate will be paid an all-inclusive monthly remuneration as per the table below:
