The Corporation is seeking a diligent and strategic Senior Technical Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in achieving technical objectives

Job Description
- Perform planned and regular inspections on the buildings financed by HDFC and ensure the structure's conformity with specifications in the approved drawings
- Inspect and report construction works in relation to HDFC Loans/facilities right from the beginning, through the stages, and to completion of the building process.
- Check and review drawdown, work schedule and contractor agreements and ensure works are carried out by the company policies.
- Prepare relevant technical documentation and progress reports and present monthly technical reports to the management
- Visiting construction sites and preparing technical inspection reports to justify the completed works and to satisfy investment of loan proceeds in the construction of homes.
- Assist in the Customer Credit Evaluation Process by reviewing “bill of quantities” (BOQs) received with the loan application, and reporting the findings to the Credit Committee
- Conduct a market survey to understand prevailing land rates
Job Requirements
- Degree in Project Management, Construction, QS, or a similar field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field
- Able to prepare evaluation reports
- Familiar with existing Building terms and regulations in Maldives
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Dhivehi, with strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Competent with General Office Software.

Working Hours: The selected candidate will be required to work from 08:00 to 16:00 hrs from Sunday – Thursday.
