HR and Quality Assurance Manager (Full Time)

 

Job Title:

To oversee the human resources functions and ensure the quality assurance standards of the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) are met and maintained.

Job Summary:

Negotiable

Salary:

  • A Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in Quality Assurance, HR Strategy, or Sports Management are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management or a similar role. Experience in quality assurance and HR in sports organizations or similar industries is an advantage.
  • Expertise in HR operations, recruitment, staff training, performance management, and policy development.
  • Familiarity with quality control frameworks and implementing continuous improvement processes.

Educational Qualification:

  • Proven experience in managing HR teams and leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Maldives’ labor laws and best practices in employee relations, engagement, and retention.
  • Proficiency in English and local languages to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Experience:

  • Strong leadership skills, capable of guiding HR operations, including employee recruitment, payroll management, and staff development programs.
  • Ability to set and maintain high-quality standards across departments, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with both local and international standards.

HR & Management Skills:

  • A strong commitment to promoting a positive work culture and adhering to transparency, fairness, and equality in HR practices.
  • High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in managing HR and quality-related issues.

Ethical Standards:

  • HR Operations:

-     Manages FAM’s HR processes, including recruitment, employee onboarding, training programs, payroll, and benefits. Ensures compliance with local labor laws and international HR standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Implements performance evaluation systems, career development plans, and staff training to ensure employees are continually improving and reaching their potential.

 

Performance Management:

  • Develops and oversees quality assurance procedures for all departments, ensuring alignment with international standards such as those of FIFA and AFC. Monitors organizational performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Quality Assurance Management:

  • Drafts and maintains HR policies that reflect FAM’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being. Ensures FAM’s compliance with legal requirements and best HR practices.

HR Policy & Compliance:

  • Promotes employee engagement initiatives and fosters a positive working environment. Manages conflict resolution, employee grievances, and ensures high employee satisfaction and retention.

Employee Engagement & Welfare:

  • Leads quality improvement initiatives, identifies gaps in operations, and conducts regular audits to ensure compliance. Develops training programs to enhance both HR functions and operational quality across FAM.

Continuous Improvement & Training:

  • Reports to the General Secretary and collaborates with all department heads to ensure HR practices and quality assurance processes align with FAM’s strategic goals.
