Demand letter

We are seeking to recruit talented and Qualified Nursing Health Professionals to work in hospitals/health centers which is under ministry of Health in Maldives.

Required number of health professionals

• Registered Nurse

Minimum Criteria and Qualification:   

• Registered Nurse:
• Bachelor’s Degree Qualification in nursing recognized by Maldives Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience (midwife) in a hospital with 150 or more beds within the past 2 years is required.
• Permanent Basic registration certificate from local Nursing Council of the candidate.
• IELTS (general: Overall score 5.5 and above) or OET (C and above) of 2 years validity.
• Age:  Below 35 years

• Mark Sheet
• Academic Transcript
• Passport Copy
• IELTS (5.5 and above /OET (C and Above)) 2 Years Validity
• Country Registration
• 2 years of work Experience (midwife)
• Goods Standing and Verification (must be submitted after selection for the interview)
• Police Clearance Certificate (03 Months Validity)

 Other Information  

• Medical Benefits: Ministry of Health will bear the cost of premium for enrolment in a health insurance scheme as decided by MOH. 
• Visa: Visa fees will only be paid to the employee. 
• Police Clearance Certificate: All candidates must have the police clearance certificate (Minimum 3 months’ validity) upon signing the contract  

The maximum number of application applicable per agency is as follows 

1. Registered Nurse: (Maximum 6 Applications)

Special Note:

1. This demand letter is specially for the candidates for Nurse-midwife. Candidates without the qualification/ experience of midwifery will be rejected.
2. Interested registered agencies are invited to submit their applications. Please note that the services provided to the Ministry of Health shall not incur any recruitment fees/charges.
3. Candidates with valid registration and license from Maldives Nursing and Midwifery Council will be prioritized for the interview.
4. After each applications verification, 60 candidates will be shortlist to select 40 candidates in total (30 required & 10 in waitlist).
5. These waitlisted candidates will have an opportunity for the job under ministry of health from the time of achieving pass mark from the interview till 3 months validity. After the time frame of the 3 months waitlisted candidates the job opportunity will be nullified automatically.
6. Candidates must submit good standing and verification within 72 hours once selected for the interview.
7. Employees selected for the post of registered nurse under advertisement (IUL)23-HRD(FRS)/23/2024/205 will be assessed for midwifery experience within probation period and would be terminated if permanence are not up to the standard.
