Extension of the EOI Period for the
“License to Operate Cargo Office Spaces in NCT at VIA”

Reference is given to the EOI notice no 116-FB2/IL/2024/66 dated 7th March 2024 where Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) operating the Velana International Airport (VIA) expressed its wish to seek & identify interested & eligible parties to operate “cargo offices” in the New Cargo Terminal (NCT) of VIA.
The initial EOI period ended on 1100hrs of 14th March 2024, Thursday. However, parties are still expressing interest (EOI). Therefore, as per the MACL decision, the EOI period has been extended till 1100hrs of 21st December 2024, Thursday.
The interested parties shall be licensed/registered under one of the categories below and shall submit the stated documents to prove it:

Interested eligible & competent parties shall send their Expression of Interest (EOI) by post, fax or email ([email protected]) on or before 1100hrs of 21st March 2024, Thursday. Late EOIs will be rejected. The parties sending their EOIs shall provide their full legal name, address, contact details and any supporting documents as applicable to prove their eligibility & capability (e.g.: firm profile, affiliations, experience etc.). MACL at own discretion will later send a formal ‘Request for Quotation/Proposal’ to the eligible EOI parties as per MACL requirement.
Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid but is only for information purpose. This EOI does not imply a commitment by MACL to proceed with, continue or complete this, or any other similar process. Nothing in this EOI creates an exclusive arrangement between MACL and any EOI party.
