Key responsibilities

• Evaluate risks and assist to formulate a Risk Based Annual Plan for the Internal Audit Department.
• Conduct field work for internal audit assignments.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls by review of policies, procedures, and systems to identify areas of non-compliance or weaknesses.
• Prepare internal audit reports to effectively communicate the findings and recommendations.
• Propose practical and value-based audit recommendations.
• Following-up on audits and implementation of recommendations.
• Assist to enhance the efficiency and quality of department work through process improvement initiatives.
• Assist the external auditors during the external audit process, providing necessary information and support.
• Adhere to code of ethics that uphold the principles of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and competency.

Educational Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field or ACCA Part 2
• Minimum 1 year experience in related field.
