The Government of Maldives hasfinancing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Installation of Elevator at Maldives Polytechnic.
1. The Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and Installation of Elevator at Maldives Polytechnic.
2. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, Revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Unit, Email: [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0800 – 1400 until 21st March 2024 (Thursday) 1200 Hours at the address given below.
4. Information session will be held onsite at Maldives Polytechnic Male’ Campus on 17th March 2024 (Sunday) at 11:00 Hours. Bids will not be accepted by those parties who do not attend thisinformation session/site visit.
5.The bidding document in English can be downloaded by interested Bidders from the Gazette page as well as upon the submission of a written application to the address below.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on 27th March 2024 (Wednesday) 11:00 Hours. Late Bids will be rejected
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of MVR 20,000/- (Maldivian Rufiyaa Twenty Thousand). All information regarding Bid Security is included in the bidding document. Please get more information about the bid security from bidding document.
