In accordance with the Regulation No: R-105/2023 (Regulation for Facility Registration and Issuance of Licenses and Permits for Water and Sewerage Services) and Regulation No: R-78/2023 (Regulation for Facility Registration and Issuance of Licenses and Permits for Energy Services) Authority will commence the application process for Facility Registration and issuance of operating licenses and permits for utility services effective from 18^th February 2024 (Sunday).

The application forms for the Facility Registration and Operating license for Water, Sewerage and Energy facilities will be available on the Authority’s official website.

As per the amendments no: 2023/R-148 and 2023/R-147, the existing energy systems in operation, are required to complete the facility registration and obtain operating license before 06^th February 2025 and the existing water and sewerage systems in operation, are required to complete the facility registration and obtain operating license before 25^th May 2025. Additionally, newly established Water, Sewerage and Energy Systems must have the Facility registered and obtain Operating License prior to the operation of the facility.

Necessary action in accordance to the regulations stated above, will be taken against service providers that does not comply with the Facility Registration and Operating License within the allocated time frame.

Therefore, we request all Water, Sewer and Energy utility service providers to comply and proceed with the application process for Facility Registration and Operating Licenses.
