REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

CONSULTING SERVICES – INDIVIDUAL LOCAL CONSULTANT

The Government of Maldives (GoM) is developing the ‘System Transformation Grant’ in collaboration with the Grant Agent UNICEF. The grant is funded by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). To complete the application process efficiently, the Ministry of Education (MoE) seeks an Individual Local Consultant for aforementioned service. The service is for a period of 60 Days.

The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be obtained at the address given below.

The Ministry of Education now invites eligible individual local consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or any other related field
• At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in related field.
• Effective communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience working with government ministries, preferably working on results-based budgets
• In-depth knowledge of results-based budgeting
• Prior work experience with the Ministry will be an added advantage

A Consultant will be selected based on the submitted Expression of Interest.
