CALL FOR INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) TO LEASE LAND PLOTS FOR DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, OPERATION, AND MANAGEMENT OF GUESTHOUSES IN     

        M. MULI TOURISM ZONE

The Secretariat of  Muli Island Council (“hereinafter referred to as the “Council”) invites eligible investors, (locals) to register their interest within 10 (Ten) days by submitting a letter, and submit their interest to Design, Development, Operation, and Management of a tourist facility (Guesthouse) of 8000 Square Feet of Land allocated in M. Muli Tourism Zone (hereinafter referred to as the “Land Plots”), total 4 (four) land plots for 50 years. (The LAND PLOTS is attached as Annex I)

1. Interested parties should register before 18^th January 2024, 1330, hours, via Bid Registration Form- from Secretariat Muli Island Council. The Bid registration Form shall be submitted via email [email protected]. Only registered parties shall be allowed to purchase Bid Documents.
2. Bid Documents will be available to purchase from 21^st to 24^th January 2024, between 0830 to 1300 hours from the Secretariat Muli Island Council.
3. Information session will be held both physically and virtually on 25^th January 2024,1300 hours. Meeting link will be shared with the parties who purchased Bid Documents.
4. Bidders or their Representatives must be present with sealed Bids 10 minutes before the start of the Bid opening session on 15^th February 2024, 1300, hours at Secretariat of the Muli Island Council or any other venue that the Council may announce. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the Bid Opening session.
5. The price of Bidding Documents for individuals or companies/partnerships registered in the Republic of Maldives shall be MVR 3,500.00 (Three Thousand Five Hundred Maldivian Rufiyaa). Payment for the bid documents is non- refundable.
