Working Hours

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar technical discipline with minimum 3 years of hands -on experience in field OR
• Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Similar technical discipline with minimum 4 years of hands -on experience in field

Educational Background and Experience:

• Proven familiarity developing backend and frontend systems using popular frameworks.
• Experience in Laravel, MySQL, PHP, and related technology development;
• Proficient in using code versioning tools such as Git;
• Experience building robust frontend experiences (Tailwind CSS)
• Experience in building and working with RESTful APIs;
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum process.
• Experience in JavaScript (Vue/React)
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with project management principles, processes, procedures, and tools.
• Experience turning ideas and mock-ups into well-executed code
• Ability to learn new technologies with minimal supervision;
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Cloud integration or processes.
• Able to understand complex business processes.
• Having worked actively in building applications for the government will be an added advantage.
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines;
• Ability to work in teams, and individually with minimum supervision.
• Exercises initiative and creativity to complete projects within the project scope.
• Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to work in a highly team-oriented
• environment.
• Proven ability to function in a fast-paced, project-based, environment.
• A demonstrated passion for learning new technologies.
• A demonstrated passion for learning new Exhibits proficient written and verbal
• communication with customers both internal and external.

Additional Requirements

• Work with key stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to identify process flows and business requirements.
• Lead, manage, coordinate, and report on multiple projects conducted by the development team.
• Develop and implement software life-cycle processes.
• Develop, test, code review and maintain high-quality web applications and services.
• Technical support and maintain applications in a production environment.
• Analyse and optimize apps to improve performance and efficiency.
• Deliver developed and tested software applications within the given deadlines.
• Work with the team to help shape the system architecture.
