INVITATION FOR TENDER
HIRING A CONTRACTOR FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS AT STO TRADE CENTRE
State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) is pleased to offer the opportunity to submit proposals for, hiring a contractor for construction works at STO Trade Centre.
1. The Eligible Tenderers are limited to;
1.1 Parties who have completed at least 1 general construction project of value MVR 600,000 and above in the last 05 years.
- General construction: Demolition works, masonry and plastering works
2. Experience of the proponent will be validated by:
2.1 Reference letter/completion certificates or any documentation in the name of the Companies/Government Entities/Institutions/Commission etc. (any legal or government entity) for general construction work successfully completed within last years.
- To assist in the assessment and eligibility of the bidder, STO may, at STO’s discretion, ask any proponent to submit any documents (including and not limited to some mandatory documents) for clarification and verification.
3. Tendering Process.

Registration and Bid Document: |
Tenderers can register via email to [email protected] along with the company certificate and documents required to verify the eligibility criteria.
Deadline for Registration is 22nd October 2023, 1100hrs.
ONLY Eligible Tenderers can register and participate in the tender.
A complete set of Bidding Document in English shall be sent via email on, 24th October 2023, only to the parties who have successfully registered and are eligible under the tender. |

Pre-bid meeting / site visit |
Mandatory Site visit will be held on 25th October 2023,1100hrs at STO Trade Centre

Questions and Replies: |
Questions shall be type-written in English, and shall be sent via email, on or before 30th October 2023, 1100hrs, to the address specified below. Replies to questions will be given on theof 30th October 2023, to all those who have successfully registered under this tender

Tender Submission: |
Documents shall be emailed to [email protected] [NOT LATER than 2nd November 2023 at 1100:00hrs.]
Submissions received after deadline shall be rejected. |
