INVITATION FOR TENDER

HIRING A PARTY TO CARRY OUT CIVIL AND INTERIOR WORKS AT HULHUMALE’ CENTRAL MEDICAL WAREHOUSE

State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) is pleased to offer the opportunity to submit proposals for carrying out civil and interior works at Hulhumale’ central medical warehouse.

1.      Project Overview

Civil and interior works at Hulhumale’ Central medical warehouse, including ground works, concrete works, form works, masonry and plastering works, structure and metal work, Canopy roof works, doors & windows work and building façade cladding., Painting works, Tiling works, Wall and Ceiling finishes works, Gypsum partition works, electrical works, lighting work, network cabling, Firefighting and fire protection works, mechanical work, furniture and fixture work, and pantry area works.

2.      The Eligible Tenderers are limited to;

2.1   Parties who have completed at least 1 (One) similar nature project involving civil and interior works, valued at MVR 4 (Four) Million and above in the past 3 (Three) years as the main contractor. Subcontracted projects will not be considered.

2.2   Completed works should include the majority of the scope of works stated in the project overview.

2.3   STO reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any party who have been Blacklisted and has any Legal issue, including the Default Customers, Customers with bad history, nonperformance and it shall extend to STO and Subsidiaries of STO as well.

3.      Experience of the proponent will be validated by:

3.1   Reference letter/completion certificates or any documentation in the name of the Companies/Government Entities/Institutions/Commission etc. (any legal or government entity)

3.2   The tenderer shall submit the Project Data Sheet annexed in this tender notice with all the required details.

3.3   To assist in the assessment and eligibility of the bidder, STO may, at STO’s discretion, ask any proponent to submit any documents (including and not limited to some mandatory documents) for clarification and verification.

Note: Project data sheet shall be completed and attached with each reference letter/completion document. STO reserves the right to reject letters/completion documents that does not accompany the project data sheet.
