MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
• Diploma in a relevant field with 3 years of experience (OR)
• Certified Automobile mechanic qualification with minimum 5 year’s work experience in diesel, petrol and hydraulic vehicle maintenance.

OVERALL SCOPE
Oversee and undertake repair and maintenance of Vehicles of the Corporation.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Maintain vehicles, which include the company’s fleet of light and heavy vehicles.
• Ensure routine and preventive maintenance including oil changes and tune-ups.
• Perform tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify mechanical problems either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.
• Examine critical parts and systems using a standard checklist.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts and systems such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions and other mechanical parts.
• Plan and establish timetable to complete repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct test drives on vehicles to confirm safe and proper operation.
• Maintain records in accordance to the work conducted.
• Conduct the relevant tests required to carry out maintenance and ensure serviceability.
• Manage and maintain the inventory of vehicle repair items, and ensure the stock is refilled in a timely manner.

• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair.
• Excellent mechanical repair skills.
• Able to work long and flexible hours.

• Should be able to work as an individual and as a flexible team player.
• Should be able to prioritize tasks and manage one's own time effectively.

SALARY PACKAGE
Gross Salary of MVR 21,500.00
