The Republic of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth Project (P163818) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of ICT equipment for SME Hub. 

The Ministry of Economic Development now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for supply the following ICT equipment 

Bidding will be conducted through International competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Fourth Edition, November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mr. Thaasyn Hilmy, Project Director, Ministry of Economic Development, email: [email protected]  and inspect the bidding document during office hours 08:00-16:00 hrs. at the address given below. 

Pre-bid meeting will be held on 9th August2023 at 10:00 am at the address specifided below.  

The bidding document in English will be available free of charge for interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to[email protected].  The document will be sent by via email. 

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 28th August2023 at 10:00 am. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 28th August 2023 at 10:00 am. 

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of MVR 7,710.00
