MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
A’ Level / O’ Level

OVERALL SCOPE
Carry out all the tasks assigned by the Network Engineer and report to the NOC Manager accordingly.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Splice fiber optic cables including both loose tube and ribbon optic cables.
• Prepare and maintain splicing records, schematics, and diagrams.
• Maintain proper installations, repair, and maintenance of field sites.
• Attend to customer premises and resolve client-related issues.
• Follow up with customers, provide feedback, and see-through problems to resolution.
• Recommend procedure modifications or improvements.
• Handle and manage customer faults remotely and on the field.
• Work with our OAN and Smart City partners on the field.
• Proactive monitoring and escalation of all network elements in the NOC.
• Installation of Smart Solution devices as per the given instructions and guidelines.
• Monitor Smart Solutions end-devices and attend faults.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• Experience in GPON or Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networking technologies.
• Knowledge in IP subnetting, routing and switching, VLAN creation and management, and IP address management.
• Possess troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
• Working knowledge of help desk software, databases, and remote control.
• Hands-on knowledge of various technology solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Ability to work in flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.

SALARY PACKAGE
Gross Salary MVR. 13,000.00
