Pursuant to section 36(a) of the Maldives Tourism Act (Law Number 2/99), all operators of tourist establishments are required to submit information about guests who stay in the tourist establishments they operate.

Therefore, all tourist establishments are requested to take note of the following:

1. From December 2014 onwards, you are required to submit an “Information Sheet”, which includes information about guests who stayed in the tourist establishment during the month, to the MIRA in accordance with the attached format before the 8^th of the subsequent month.
2. The first Information Sheet you are required to submit would be for December 2014, which would be due for submission on 8 January 2015.
