Post: Software Developer (Locals) – Contract

Contract Period: 1 year 11 months

Department: Information Systems (Hulhumale’ Hospital)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant field.

Or

Master’s Degree in relevant field

SPECIFIC SKILL / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 2 years’ work experience
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Knowledge of coding languages (PHP, C++, Python, JavaScript, SQL, CSS) and frameworks/ systems (Laravel, React, Vue / Git)
• Experience with database and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM)
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Excellent Communication skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude

SCOPE OF WORK

• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Gather and evaluate user feedback
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

SALARY PACKAGE:

Salary: MVR 20,000.00
