     QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Postgraduate Degree with 1 year experience in Business or related field. OR
• Undergraduate Degree in a relevant field with 3 years middle management experience.
• Determined and highly motivated, with ability to work without close direction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
• Must possess initiative, be reliable, dependable, eye for detail and be able thrive under pressure.
• Ability to manage staff and to meet targets and deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skill.
• Able to work overtime as and when required.

     IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT NO LIMITED TO:

• Plan and manage all aspects of New Product Development projects, to meet customer quality and delivery expectations.
• Assess project proposals and advise management on new opportunities and business development prospects. 
• Plan and conduct field research to remain up to date with the products available on the market and newly introduced products relevant for local agricultural business development.

• Build and maintain working knowledge of new technologies and standard farm operations in the industry.
• Build relationships with key specialist in the areas required to ensure successful agricultural product development.
• Gauge farmer feedback on products, identify gaps in business direction and provide feedback for new product ideas.   
• Collaborate with funders, program officers, country representatives, and other staff to conceptualize and design proposals for new and follow-on project activities.
• Follow and maintain SOPs covering all aspects of development and analysis, where applicable
• Develop growth strategies and plans.
• Maintain correct standards of health and safety in accordance with the FDA and other authorities.
• Consult and participate in product development meetings and stakeholder events and provide event feedback to help drive product innovation of the Agro National Corporation.

• Ensure the dissemination of adequate knowledge on technical farming techniques and nutrition enquiries relevant to agricultural product ranges.   
• To source and prepare technical documentation in accordance with current procedures and systems.  

          WORKING HOURS:

• 08:00am to 16:00pm (Sunday to Thursday; and Saturdays if needed).
