INTRODUCTION

Male’ Water & Sewerage Company Pvt Ltd is an ISO and OHSAS Certified multi-disciplinary Engineering and Manufacturing organization mainly involves in providing Utility and Manufacturing related products and services to the Maldives.

The objective of this assignment is to invite experienced and reputed bidders, including solution providers and system integrators who have proven expertise to provide Proposals for Supply, Installation & Configuration of APC by Schneider Electric Symmetra LX, High Available Power Backup Solutions including On-the-Job-Training.

Scope of Works

The scope of the work shall include the following.

• UPS 1 - Disaster Recovery Site | APC by Schneider Electric Symmetra LX 16kVA N+1 Rackmount UPS Including Training
•  UPS 2, 3 & 4 - Control Rooms | APC by Schneider Electric Symmetra LX 16kVA N+1 Rackmount UPS Including Training
• Professional Service: Installation and Configuration of APC by Schneider Electric Symmetra LX, High Available Power Backup Solution UPS including On-the-Job Training.
• Warranty and Technical Support
• Delivery of Hardware and Installation

 Eligibility Criteria

• Any single firm, company, partnership, or other legal entity registered in the Republic of Maldives, only with 100% Maldivian shareholding parties are eligible to submit the proposal for this tender.

• Bid Form should serve as a front page of the bidder’s proposal. If the bidder fails to submit the completed Bid Form, the bid will be rejected. The bidder shall duly sign the Bid Form. Failure to do so will render the offer non-responsive and disqualified.

• Bidder or proposer must be an Authorized Partner or Distributor of Fortinet products and services. The bidder that does not manufacture or produce the Goods it offers to supply shall submit the Manufacturer’s Authorization Letter (MAL) to demonstrate that it has been duly authorized by the manufacturer or producer of the Goods/Services to provide these Goods/Services in the Maldives. MAL must be referred to the project reference number.

• Bidder will maintain necessary resources for Implementation, Configuration and on-site technical support during the contract or support period. Installation, Configuration and Support must be provided by bidders Certified Team / Engineer(s).

• The Bidder should provide experience references (value each above 250,000.00 MVR per project) of successful implementation of similar implementations (APC Schneider Electric Datacenter UPS projects) and should include descriptions of the system implemented. The mentioned project references must consist of the names and contact information of the respective clients so that MWSC can contact and verify the project summaries. Minimum 03 references for the type of project mentioned below in Clause 3.6 - Mandatory Documents, for proof of supply and installation of similar project and services to other organizations within the past three (5) years is required. Failure to do so will render the bidder ineligible and nonresponsive, leading to disqualification of the bid.

• The above must be fully supported by including all the following mandatory documents in the bidders’ proposal. Failure to include any, will render the bidder ineligible and nonresponsive, leading to disqualification of the bid.

• Copy of Company Registration Certificate
• Company Profile Information sheet issued by the Ministry of Economic Development
• Copy of National Identification Card / Passport of Certified Engineers
• GST Registration Certificate
• MIRA Tax Clearance Report (past 6 months from the date of bid submission)
• Bid Form (completed, signed, and stamped)

• RFP Compliance Form (completed, signed, and stamped)
• Bill of Material and Requirements (as per the RFP)
• Manufacturer’s Authorization Letter / Certificate
• Payment Terms
• Experience References
  • Three (3) APC Schneider Electric Datacentre UPS projects

• Installation Team / Engineer(s) Vendor Certified following Certificates required.
  • APC Schneider Electric Certified Secure Power Specialist
  • APC Schneider Electric Certified Engineer for Symmetra LX/PX Series UPS
