                                                                       SALE OF LAND FROM THILAFUSHI PHASE 2 FOR INDUSTRIAL PURPOSES

Housing Development Corporation Ltd. (HDC) is pleased to announce the sale of lands from Thilafushi Phase 2 for Industrial purposes. The land sale from Thilafushi phase 2 will be carried out in a series of phases. As such, the sale of lands under the first phase will be carried out from Zone A of Thilafushi Phase 2 as per the following criteria and process.

Criteria:

• Any Individuals or Company can apply for the sale
• Local Applicants; Free hold rights will be granted
• Foreign Applicants; 99 years lease hold rights will be granted
• Base rate: MVR 1,700 per sqft.

Bid process:

• Stage 1: Submission of EOI
• Stage 2: Submission of Bid

Interested parties can submit their application to HDCs online portal that is scheduled to be launched on 07^th February 2023 (Tuesday). Further details regarding the sale and the online portal will be published on www.hdc.com.mv  and www.gazette.gov.mv on the same date.
