Job Title: Shop Assistant
Department: The Scout Shop
Job Type: Contract Staff
Working Hours: 09:30 – 15:30hrs on working days
Location: The Scout Association of Maldives, Male’ City
Salary: 5,000/-
Responsibilities:
We are looking to hire a hard-working, customer-oriented shop assistant to ensure the smooth running of in-store operations of the Scout Shop and support the Shop Manager.
Tasks of the Shop Assistant include:
- Processing customer payments using the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain record of shop inventory.
- Ensuring that online orders are taken and made ready for collection.
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.
- Addressing and resolving customers complaints in a professional manner.
- Performing end-of-day cleaning duties, keeping the shop organized and clean.
- Performing other shop related tasks assigned from the Shop Manager and relevant supervisors at the Scout Association of Maldives.
Requirment:
- Completed O’ Levels (3 passes preferably)
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Good communication skills in both English & Dhivehi
- Ability to work on shift duties
- Ability to coordinate with other members of the team
- Possess a good presentation with friendly customer caring attitude
- Customer care skills. Confident in dealing with customers in a professional manner
