Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital will open its 7^th intake for medical students to do Medical Internship effective from 18^th March 2023. Students who wish to do Medical Internship in IGMH can submit application forms from Sunday, 22^nd January 2023, 09:00 hours until 15^th February 2023, 12:00 hours. The number of slots allocated for the 7^th intake is 32. Interns will NOT be paid any form of remuneration. 

Requirements

1. M.B.B.S Completion Certificate from the Medical College/University

2. “Certificate of Provisional Medical Registration” from Maldives Medical and Dental Council

3. No police records for the past 5 years

Required Documents

1. Attested Copy of M.B.B.S Completion Certificate from the Medical College/University (Accredited from Maldives Qualification Authority)

2. “Certificate of Provisional Medical Registration” from Maldives Medical and Dental Council (Attested copy)

3. Police Clearance Certificate (Copy)

4. ID / Passport Copy

5. 1 Passport Size Photograph

Selected candidates shall bring the Original of the certificates once informed by the Hospital prior to commencement of the Program.

Application Form

Application form can be downloaded from IGMH website www.igmh.gov.mv. Forms will also be available from Medical Internship Secretariat office, 1^st Floor, Admin Block, IGMH between Sunday to Thursday 09:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Submission of Completed Application Form

Completed application forms with the aforesaid documents shall be submitted to Medical Internship Secretariat office, 1^st Floor, Admin Block from 22^nd January 2023 to 15^th February 2023 between Sunday to Thursday 09:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Completed application forms will NOT be accepted via e-mail.

Preference for candidates’ selection 

If the number of valid applications exceed 32, preference will be given to students who have completed MBBS earlier, depending on the date of completion of MBBS.
