Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (“MTCC”) invites legal practices and law firms with demonstrated capacity to submit fee proposal for carrying out audits and winding up works of MTCC’s 1/3 shareholding company Airport Investment Maldives Pvt Ltd (“AIM”)

 1.       Scope of Service

The Liquidator is responsible for providing AIM with the following services.

1.1. Auditing financial statements of the AIM company for the years.

1.1.1 Ended 31^st December 2018,

1.1.2  Ended 31^st December 2019,

1.1.3  Ended 31^st December 2020,

1.1.4  Ended 31^st December 2021, and

1.1.5  year ending 31^st December 2022.

1.2.  Dissolution of the company as required by law.

Note: There is no pending litigation against AIM, to date.

 2.       Conditions of the RFQ

2.1.  The quotation submitted should be in line with the information given out in this information sheet.

2.2. The legal practice or the law firm must be registered with Bar Council of the Maldives.

2.3. All fees should be quoted in Maldivian Rufiyaa and payments will be made by AIM upon activation of company bank account.

2.4. The quotation and cost schedule submitted should be valid and binding for 60 days following the quotation date.

2.5. Engagement for the execution of works will be between the selected respondent and AIM.

2.6. The respondent is expected to carry out the work expediently.

2.7. Respondents to this RFQ should have the required capacity to carry out the scope of work outlined in this RFQ.

2.8. Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc reserves the rights to accept or reject any, or all proposals, and to annul this call for RFQ process, at any time, thereby rejecting all proposals prior to selection of the most suitable option.

2.9. Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc shall have no liability for any information it provides, or for any costs or loss to any party responding to this RFQ, in this event that this call for RFP is cancelled, suspended, or changed.

2.10. If, in the opinion of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc, and at Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc’s sole discretion, none of the responses submitted are acceptable, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc reserves the rights to enter negotiations with one or more of the interested parties for a satisfactory offer.

2.11. Nothing contained or implied in this call for RFQ shall oblige Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc to discuss, justify or give reasons for any of its decisions or actions relating to this process or any individual response.

2.12. Proposals are submitted on the basis that no binding legal relations with Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc are created and that respondents agree to be bound by the conditions contained herein.

 3.   Instructions to bidders

3.1. The proposal must be placed in a sealed envelope marked ‘Private and Confidential’ and Interested parties are kindly requested to submit their proposal to the following address or email to the following email address on 12^th January 2023, 14:00hrs local time.

3.2.     Deadline for the submission of Quotations will be 12^th January 2023, 14:00hrs.

3.2.1.  Quotations received after the specified time shall not be eligible for consideration and shall be summarily rejected.

3.3.     Quotation Contents

Quotations for the Service must include the following:

3.3.1.  Price quoted for the work in legal entity letter head indicating the estimated amount for.

Whole Liquidation process fees, with breakdowns too.

3.3.2.1.1    Fees for auding financial statements of the company, per year.

3.3.2.1.2    Fees for all other works of liquidation.

3.3.2.1.3    Rate for case representation at court, per each level of court (where applicable).
