Roles and Responsibilities
A Research Assistant is responsible for the project execution provides support and assistance to the lead researcher and team.
Specific tasks performed are as follows
- contribute for all stages of research, training, and events and studies carried out the desk review, informant interviews, focus group discussions, piloting and undertaking the final qualitative research
- translation and transcription of data
- work under specific guidance of the Project Team Leader and Research team.
- contribute overall activities and report to the project Research Specialist
- execute the project in terms of coordinating desk review, focus group discussion, informant interviews, piloting, conduct quantitative survey, analysis, drafting outcome of reports
- review of data base on the state-of-the-art information on practices of data base management, develop in presentable format and prepare reports in various formats including graphs, charts, matrix etc. as required.
- carry out desk analysis of the data/information and interpretation of data.
- prepare and present reports and other deliverables for the project
- performs any other assignments as required
Qualification and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, development or a related field.
- Experience in conducting research in the field of social issues
