Supervisor (Contract)
POSITION: Supervisor - (contract- 6 months)
Requirement / Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in related field in a similar capacity preferred
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and monitoring landscaping work and handling client questions on the landscaping project.
- Review of the plant health, soil condition, water purity and other environmental conditions related to landscaping.
- Improving growing conditions using suitable nutrient fertilizers and soil mix and Identifying symptoms, pests and diseases affecting plants and environment in designated areas
- Organize work orders with the ground crew and plan daily work schedule for the workforce
- Assess for defects and deficiencies, particularly those affecting the safety of harbor users and report to manager
- Crafting swift and effective response to unforeseen emergency situations such as marine pollution, storm events, accidents or incidents requiring urgent action
- Monitor all repair and maintenance work at the harbor/transit lounge area to ensure safety and quality standards are being followed and work is carried out in a timely manner
- Monitor and report progress of ongoing works and contact relevant departments to pursue activities that have not been completed or are progressing slowly.
- Monitoring the cost of work being carried out by staff or contractors and inquiring any exorbitant amounts and reporting to management.
- Perform other related duties as required
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- Must have the ability to work well under pressure
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
