Job Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of people, objects, buildings, and premises either in person or using surveillance devices (CCTV)
• Ensure security equipment and surveillance cameras are functioning properly and facilitating repairs in a timely manner
• Planning and implementing comprehensive security strategies
• Controlling the security operations budget, monitoring expenses, and documenting processes
• Managing emergency situations, natural disasters to help safeguard people and property
• Monitor daily security operations and responses to emergencies and alarms
• Develop and implement security and safety standards, policies, and practices
• Gathering security intelligence and implementing preventive measures
• Collaborate with security team and internal groups within STO and public entities (Emergency medical services, fire, police, Govt. entities) as they relate to premise security to determine operational needs
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety rules, security and building regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security administration or Management or Administration or related field
• 5 years of experience in managing security operations within an organization or managing law enforcement operations

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in security operations within a large organization
• Familiarity with legal and building terminology and aspects of security governance
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, database systems and knowledge of security technology
• Good judgment, discretionary behavior and diplomacy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
