Introduction

Male’ Water & Sewerage Company Pvt Ltd is an ISO and OHSAS Certified multi-disciplinary Engineering and Manufacturing organization mainly involves in providing Utility and Manufacturing related products and services to the Maldives.

The Announcement No. (MWSC-L/3/ADV/2022/108) published on 04^th July 2022 is hereby cancelled due to no response received within the specified submission deadline. As such, we have decided to re-invite Eligible and interested bidders to apply based on the following information.

Scope of Work

The scope of construction work includes:

• Site Mobilization and management (inclusive of sign boards, safety and health requirements, clean up, preparation of shop drawings and As Built drawings, submission of daily work reports.)
• Propose design and detail methodology of 2 nos of 160mm internal dia micro tunnel ( 27 meters length  )design  attached

• Construction of 2 nos of 160mm as per the design attached

• Design and construct  2 Nos of RCC inspection chamber ( IC 11  & IC10)  with cover at end of tunnels

• Site cleaning upon completion.

• Providing As-built Drawings & supporting technical specification documents upon completion.   

Drawings for the proposed Micro tunnel location has been included with this invitation as Appendix 1.

Prequalification requirement

Interested and competent contractors wishing to carry out the above project must submit the Expression of Interest with the following documents.

• Business Registration Certificate and Company Profile.
• Mira Tax Clearance (within 6 months)
• GST Registration
• Proposed management team, with CV’s of key personnel to be deployed on the project with the following minimum personnel:
  • Site supervisor or Site Engineering with Diploma in Civil Engineering or building technology related programme, with 2 years’ experience OR
  • Civil Engineer with a Degree in Civil Engineering with 2 years’ Experience
  • Evidence of successfully executing projects within the last 5 years, similar in scope and complexity.
  • List of bidder’s Equipment’s, machineries and tools to be utilized for the project. It should state the condition and ownership status & shall demonstrate availability of minimum Equipment’s and Machineries required for the project.
  • Audited Financial Statement for the past 5 years.

Apart from above, contractors may submit any documents, information that may be necessary to prove their qualification for the work.

Application for the Expression of Interest, accompanied by the above listed documents (Prequalification Requirement) should be forwarded in sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner.

Important Notice

1)      This tender is a Two stage tendering process, where the tendering process is conducted as follows;

• At the First Stage of the tender, bidders are called upon to present their initial tender proposal containing the prequalification documents without a bid price.
• Only the bidders who meet the prequalification criteria will be invited for the Second Stage of the tender to submit their final bid inclusive of the price.
