POSITION: LOAD CONTROLLER

Requirement / Qualifications:

• High school diploma with two years’ experience in the field of aviation  (or)

• Five years’ experience in the field of aviation with minimum 2 years of experience in load control.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan cargo and baggage load for all the flights within the shift and prepare ZERO fuel weight (ZFW)/load sheet in coordination with cargo through computerized passenger manifest.
• Comply with safety in the workplace.
• Plan distribution of load in accordance with passengers, cargo, and fuel requirements.
• Monitor the performance of the Departure Control System.
• Display care and diligence in all activities.
• Embrace and maintain a positive safety culture, a healthy and secure working environment in compliance with the relevant industry and legislative requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and produce all loading, weight, and balance documentation in accordance with Company and Client airline specifications, with or without the use of the Departure Control System of the same Load Sheet/Trim sheet and Loading Advice/Load Plan.
• In case of any arms/Ammunition, dangerous goods, dead body, or any special load to be loaded on the aircraft hold, specifically mention
• Ensure the safe distribution of the load within prescribed aircraft limitations by the client airlines and AIA Operating Manuals/Procedures.
• Be familiar with client airline manuals including loading and stowage of dangerous goods.
• Coordinate and communicate with relevant departments (Ramp Team, Baggage Team, etc.) to ensure the smooth handling of passengers and 'dead load' in delay situations.
• Delivery of safe, compliant, and customer-focused weight and balance services.
• Comply with customer airline regulatory requirements as well as Company Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain load control certification and demonstrate ongoing skills through the recertification process.
• Always keeps Himself available on radio (VHF) during flight hours.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

• Must have the ability to work in multiple airline Departure Control Systems simultaneously
• Must have sound knowledge of passenger handling systems and aircraft in hold systems
• Must be familiar with client airline manuals including loading and stowage of dangerous goods
