Request for Expressions of Interest

 

The Government of Maldives (GoM) is implementing the “Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY)” Project. The project is funded by the World Bank. The objective of the project is to improve the relevance of technical and vocational skills and foster entrepreneurship to promote youth employment in priority sectors. The project is being administered by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), with a Project Steering Committee that will be co-chaired by the MoHE and the Ministry of Economic Development.

                                                                                                                           

As part of this project, MoHE seeks an Individual Consultant as Implementation Coordinator for the Maldives National Skills Development Authority. Expressions of Interest need to be submitted by Email along with relevant documents. Your application should reach us on or before 14:00 PM (Local Time) on 2nd June 2022 (Thursday)Late submissions will not be accepted.

Selection of the consultant:

Consultant will be selected based on the EOI submitted and after interview process.

 

Note: Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the ‘World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers’ Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018 introduced by the Bank under the Procurement Framework (hereafter referred to as the “Regulations”).
