TENDER NOTICE ISSUED BY STATE TRADING ORGANIZATION PLC FOR SUPLLY AND DELIVERY OF A FLAT TOP BARGE AND A TUGBOAT AS PER SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDED

Tenderers are hereby invited by State Trading Organization Plc. of the Republic of Maldives, for supply and delivery of a Flat top Barge and Tugboat as per specifications provided. (The eligible Tenderers are limited to those who have experience in supplying the product).

General Description

The work:                                                Supply and Delivery of …a Flat Top Barge and Tug Boat, “The Product”

Organization of execution:                      State Trading Organization Plc. of the Republic of Maldives, “The Employer”

The Product to be tendered:                     A detail specification along with other necessary information will be provided for the registered party(s) upon expiry of registration deadline herewith below.

Shipment:                                                The supplier shall deliver “The Product” as per information provided by the employer.

Tendering Process

Registration & Bid Document:                A complete set of bidding documents in English can be sent via e-mail after receipt of payment advice (to below mail address) of a non-refundable fee of US$ 150.00 latest by (21^st September 2014, 1400hrs Maldives Time. The method of payment shall be by cash, cashier’s check or direct deposit to our US Dollar account A/c no. 7701-100471-001, SWIFT code: MALBMVMV at the Main Branch of Bank of Maldives PLC.

Questions and Replies:                            Questions shall be type-written in English and shall be submitted to the address specified below. Deadline for queries is 30^th September 2014, 1400hrs Maldives Time by e-mail.Replies to questions will be given to all those who bought the Tender Documents via e-mail.

Tender Opening:                                     13^th October 2014 at 1100hrs, Maldives Time at State Trading Organization PLC, head Office Building in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
