HIRING TWO VESSELS TO TRANSFER CONSTRUCTION ITEMS AND CARGO TO STO OUTLETS

State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) is pleased to offer the opportunity to submit proposals for, hiring 2 (two) vessels to transfer construction items and cargo to STO outlets for 01 (one)year.

 1.     Overview

1.1  Hiring a vessel to transfer construction materials cargo to the greater Male’ area

Proposed vessel shall fit to the below requirements

• Vessel Type: Wood (or) Fiber
• Vessel Cargo Loading Capacity: Minimum 150MT (3000 Bags) and Maximum: 250 (5000 Bags) 50kg Construction Materials Bags
• Empty vessel should not be higher than 06ft from top deck surface to sea level
• Top deck cargo loading stowage (falka) height should not be deeper than 6.5” ft and stowage top length should have 3’5” ft minimum 
• Vessel below deck should be available for loading of general cargo (Home improvement & supermarket items etc.)

1.2  Hiring a vessel to transfer staple food & general cargo to regional outlets

Proposed vessel shall fit to the below requirements

• Vessel Type: Wood (or) Fiber
• Vessel Cargo Loading Capacity: Minimum 200MT (4000 Bags) and Maximum: 500 (10000 Bags) 50kg Construction Materials Bags
• Empty vessel should not be higher than 06ft from top deck surface to sea level
• Top deck cargo loading stowage (falka) height should not be deeper than 6.5” ft and stowage top length should have 3’5” ft minimum 
• Vessel below deck should be available for loading of general cargo (Home improvement & supermarket items etc.)

Note: Bidders can register for one vessel or both vessels. Evaluation for each vessel shall be done separately.
