Request for Expressions of Interest
The Covid19 pandemic is expected to have a significant impact on the mental health and well-being of individuals especially children. The prolonged disruptions in day to day life and education would have an impact on learners across the Maldives. As a result of the pandemic there is an increase in the number of vulnerable students who require additional support and close monitoring and support from schools and the Ministry of Education.
To help the Ministry of Education in this work additional staff are to be recruited under the activity number E2.4 and E2.5 of the Education Response Plan to support the work done with vulnerable students and strengthen the school health services such as counseling and psychosocial support.
The newly recruited staff will work under the guidance of School Health and Safety of the Educational Supervision and Quality Improvement Division of the Ministry of Education.
