INVITATION FOR BIDS

 Consultancy service for formulation of design criteria and technical specifications for designing drainage and flood management systems in the Maldives using Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) and Manage Aquifer Recharge (MAR) principles

            Previous announcement, Ref No: (IUL)438-GCF/438/2021/167 dated 03^rd June 2021, we would like to cancel the previous announcement as the prices were higher than budgeted figure and re-invite interested eligible consultants to submit their Proposals

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MECT) has received financing from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for the project to Support vulnerable communities in Maldives to manage climate change-induced water shortages, and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the project “Consultancy service for formulation of design criteria and technical specifications for designing drainage and flood management systems in the Maldives using Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) and Manage Aquifer Recharge (MAR) principles “. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

 A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is attached to this Advertisement and also available on the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading free of cost. The Employer shall not be liable for any information not received by the Bidder. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this bid.

 Bid Registration

 Interested Bidders shall register with the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology via the application form attached to the Advertisement and is available at Ministry website www.environment.gov.mv and shall mail to the email address [email protected] not later than 1200 hours on 27th June 2021.

 Bid Validity and Bid Opening

 Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology at the address given below, on or before 1100 Maldivian Time on 30^th June 2021 at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who submitted the bid. Late bids will be rejected.
