Minimum Qualification & Experience

  • Completed Secondary education with trainings on airport management field.
  • Minimum 10 years of executive management experience in Airport field or related.
  • Should complete ICAO ANNEX 14 & Safety Management system (within 06 months of employment)

Responsibilities

  • Manage all operational activities of airport facility.
  • Ensure that airport staffs follow aviation and security rules.
  • Monitor and manage all expenses within the approved budget.
  • Provide training to airport staff in safety and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure customer complaints are handled and resolved in accurately and timely manner.
  • Follow government rules and regulations for airport operations.
  • Guide and manage airport operational and maintenance personnel.
  • Manage recruitment, training, workload assignment, performance review, appraisals and promotions for airport staff.
  • Assist in preparing annual budget for airport operations.
  • Review and revise airport safety and security plans as needed.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and practices for employees.
  • Manage aircraft fueling, heating, cleaning, etc before the flight.
  • Inspect runway grounds and lightings on regular basis.
  • Ensure that airport facility is kept clean, safe and secure.
  • Ensure airport facilities and equipment are in good working order.

Senior Airports Officer

Minimum Qualification & Expeirence

Completed Diploma in Management or related field with 5 years of supervisory level experience in the field

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Airport Manager on operational issues.
  • Liaise with Security Authorities at airport.
  • Ensure proper organization and planning for all flights of the day.
  • Ensure proper allocation of staff to cover all areas.
  • Monitor staff punctuality.
  • Meet the demands of the operation from time to time to ensure smooth function, such as A-C technical, charter flights, unexpected long flight delay or cancellations, aircraft rotation etc.
  • Ensure proper administration is adhered to in matters relating to in matters relating to revenue such as acceptance of flight coupon, transit passenger meal vouchers etc. and correspondence such as telexes, faxes email etc.
  • Ensure- monitor meal uplift and avoid wastage as Station.
  • Staff- Supervisor performance or any other discrepancies observed with suggestions for rectification and improvement.
  • Liaise with other airline representative, as and when required to meet operational demand.
  • Cover all areas of the airport to ensure smooth function and proper organization.
  • Submit a report to Airport Manager on daily basis on station activities at the end of the day.
  • Submit a separate report on any other incident such as flight technical, DNB, charters.
  • Preparations-Amendments-Changes in the roster.
  • Ensure availability and supply of relevant stationary items at the counter and other areas as per the requirement.
  • Liaise with Customer, Immigration and security for issues pertaining the airline and its passengers.

Senior Administrative Officer

Minimum Qualification & Experience 

Completed Certificate Level in Management with minimum 5 years of supervisory level experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the general office administration requirements of the office are met including office supplies, equipment and other general shared office functions (e.g., daily mail receipting and posting)
  • Support the general administrative requirements of the organization including:
  • Internal Maintenance Program documentation
  • data entry and accounts processing
  • Front desk reception for Customers and Communities as required
  • Maintain the Customer Complaints and Feedback Register including issuing the initial acknowledgement
  • Complete all administrative requirements to manage and organize scheduled maintenance
  • Provide support to team members for events
  • Provide support to management as required
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement by sharing ideas, participating in staff meetings, raising issues, questioning the way we do things and offering solutions
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures relating to Work Health & Safety, and contributing to a safe work environment
  • Preparation of necessary documents for Central HR.
  • Coordinate the HR activities requested by the Central HR.
  • Administration of personnel leave, maternity leave, disciplinary enquiries, and investigations within the Airport Staff.
  • Placing of job adverts and arranging interviews, which includes contacting prospective employees
  • Deal with both external and internal queries from both staff of the company and external bodies.
  • Administration and Coordinating of Employment Equity matters
  • Compensations and benefits administration
  • The administrator's duties also include assisting in the preparation of all letters of contract for any necessary changes in employee terms and condition.
  • Administration of attendance systems
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Prepare HR documents as and when required
  • Assist Central HR by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Participate and Administration of HR projects
  • Coordinate the interviewing, screening, recruitment, and appointment of new staff.
  • Coordinate the duties of temporary staff.
