MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

• Degree or MNQF Level 7 Qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science with minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field. (OR)
• Minimum 7 – 10 years of industry experience with Professional Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP and others.

OVERALL SCOPE
Responsible for plan, design, implementation, maintenance and repair of all the ongoing and upcoming network infrastructures under the guidance of Head of Networks.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Managing, supervising and providing technical advice on telecommunications systems.
• Overseeing and coordinating telecommunications activities.
• Identifying and initiating problem resolution issues associated with Core and Access equipments.
• Handling and managing customer faults.
• Designing and implementation of LoraWAN and other platforms.
• Optimizing infrastructure configuration to ensure efficient, reliable and consistent performance.
• Leading the second level escalations to customer/client faults.
• Performing regular checks on the network hardware and software.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• Proven work experience as a Telecommunications Specialist.
• Proven work experience on Layer2 and layer3 networks.
• Ability to design both high-level and low-level network design for GPON or FTTH, Datacenter.
• In-depth knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN and wireless networking technologies
• Knowledge of IP subnetting, routing and switching, VLAN creation/management, IP address management
• Knowledge of Private WAN, VPN, Metro Ethernet.
• Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of executing calmly against tough deadlines.
• Knowledge of Passive Optical Network and other Telecommunication equipment will be added advatage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work as an individual and as a flexible team player.

SALARY PACKAGE:

Salary negotiable based on qualification and experience.
