MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

• You must have either a current registration or must be eligible to register with the Maldives Allied Health Council to work as a psychologist and must have minimum two years of work experience
• Interest in working with children with disabilities and their families

SCOPE OF WORK

• Provides culturally informed assessment, case management, and goal-oriented, short-term interventions for children with developmental delays and their families.
• Your responsibilities will include the administration and scoring of psychometric assessments (e.g. WISC-V, Stanford Binet), psychometric report writing, individual therapy and group therapy. You will be supported in administering and scoring assessments as required and participate in weekly supervision team meetings. 
• Meets ethical obligations for timely documentation of treatment services. Engages in intervention related activities including maintaining therapy records, administering and interpreting psychological tests/inventories, making referrals, and managing various organizational and administrative aspects of cases
• Participate in  interdisciplinary team meetings and assigned committees and providing input for ongoing coordination and planning; consulting with other team members to assess issues and functions of behavior; providing information regarding psychological or situational issues unique to individuals served; and participating in psychiatric consultations and medication reviews. Participation shall involve advocacy for and education about scientifically-supported and effective procedures to respond to the unique psychiatric and behavioral needs of individual residents.
• Complete other duties as requested or assigned, such as completing emergency assignments; providing support to persons during behavioral or emotional crises; presenting at conferences, meetings, or events; providing agency in-service training; and providing consultation to stakeholder agencies.

SALARY PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: MVR 7035.00

Service Allowance: MVR 2500.00

Risk Allowance: MVR 100.00 per day attended

Technical Core Allowance: 28% of basic salary
