State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) is seeking interested and suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of:

Position:                                                        Skills Audit & Training Needs Assessment Consultant

Salary:                                                           MVR 20,000 (Twenty Thousand) per month

Role Information:

STELCO is currently seeking for a Consultant to conduct skills audit and training needs assessment of the company.

Experience and skills required:

• Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Should have done a similar nature of work for an organization with minimum 500 staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple teams.
• Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct a skill gap analysis of the company’s technical and professional fields; separately for head office and all the powerhouses managed by STELCO.
• Identify the skills and knowledge that the company staff currently has, and what is further required for the company.
• Conduct research’s, surveys and interviews to gain understanding of the company functions and determine the training needs for the company.
• Formulate Training & Development Plan for 5 years separately for each department and powerhouse, based on the research analysis and skill gap findings. 
• Identify optimal no. of staff required for each department/powerhouse and based on the findings assist to formulate an ideal structure of the company.
• Compile and submit research report with findings and recommendations for each sector separately with effective strategies, specific training needs, prioritized list of trainings, effective methods of implementations and methods to bridge identified skill gaps etc.
• Compile and submit research report with findings and recommendations on current grievance mechanism and propose strategies based on industry standards.

Successful candidate will be awarded 06 (six) month contract.
