MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or member of any other professional accounting body recognized by IFAC.

OVERALL SCOPE

Providing support to the MD in managing compliance within the company to ensure that company conforms with regulatory requirements established.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 10 years with 5 years’ senior management experience in the financial and corporate reporting. Sound Knowledge in application of IFRS ISA and IPPF

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance measures throughout the company are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing with applicable rules and regulations.
2. Design, implement and monitor the annual compliance work plan in alignment with the risk profile of the company.
3. Develop and issue all internal audit reports to ensure it concise with practical decisions and provide guidance to the management to be followed all staff.
4. Continually update/develop the policies in accordance with the requirement of the company and government laws and procedures and ensuring internal audit is performing in accordance with established professional international standards.
5. Monitoring internal compliance review and monitoring all activities, including periodic reviews of all airports and departments.
6. Regularly analyze the company’s compliance programs to reduce the vulnerability to safety, fraud, misuse and excess
7. Meet regularly with internal audit committee/staff to inform on the internal Audit’s ongoing monitoring programs, educate the committee/staff on emerging risks and exposures with respect to risk management and internal control best practices.
8.   Manage and coordinate the activities of external audit and serve as the key person on all regulatory issues of the company.
9. Advising and guiding the board of directors, senior management and all employees on compliance with awareness programs and trainings.
10. 10. Keep up with the current knowledge of laws and regulations of local government and remain abreast emerging trends and best practices of international best practices.

SALARY PACKAGE          

Basic Salary between MVR 30,000 to 40,000.
