1. The Government of the Republic of Maldives through Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the “Maldives Urban Development and Resilience Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Office Equipment.
2. The Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure now invite sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Office Equipment. The delivery period is 30 days from the date of contract signing.

3. Bidding will be conducted through Open National Competitive procurement using a Request for Quotation (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” -Procurement in Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018. (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, during office hours [08:30 am to 1400] at the address given below.
5. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the assignment can be found at the following website: https://planning.gov.mv/ or can be obtained at the address given below.
6. The Bids should be submitted to the address below no later than 13:00hrs hours on 21st January 2021.
