The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from International Development Association, the World Bank towards implementing Maldives Clean Environment Project, and intends to apply part of the proceed for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of a Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant with Borewell.
The Ministry of Environment (the employer), invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of a Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant with Borewell.
Qualifications requirements are stated in the Bidding Document.
The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid. Registration will be from the date of advertisement until 14:00 hrs of December 5, 2020 via email stating the project name, Invitation number, Company name, Company registration number and contact details.
The Bidder shall furnish a bid Security of MVR 3000.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa Three Thousand only) (or Equivalent in United States Dollars). Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening.
Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” World Bank Procurement Regulations for Borrowers under Investment Project Financing, dated July 1, 2016, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Any Clarifications regarding this tender may be sent to the address below on or before 14:00 hrs of Thursday, December 10, 2020.
Bids shall be delivered to the address specified below, on or before Tuesday 1100 hours Maldivian Time on 15th December 2020, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
