MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

1. Degree or MNQF Level 7 Qualification in Information Communication Technology, Networking or in a relevant field with minimum 4 years’ experience in ICT field. OR
2. Advanced Diploma or MNQF Level 6 Qualification in Information Communication Technology, Networking or in a relevant field with minimum 7 years’ experience in ICT field.

OVERALL SCOPE
Working with equipment of telecommunications, hardware & services such as designing and implementation of GPON and backhauling for mobile operators and solving, assessing and finding solutions for any problems raised in Telecommunication networks.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Identify, evaluate and find solutions to different technical problems.
• Visit securitize sites frequently to check whether any repair is needed.
• Know how to design and build telecommunications system (GPON network and Backhaul for mobile operators)
• Be aware of the Company and Government procedures and standards and then follow or apply them accordingly.
• Proactive in foreseeing problems in equipment and services and come forward with solutions before they crop up.
• Troubleshoot equipment and technical defects that could occur in the field.
• Process a wide array of knowledge in their field regarding the installation, circuity, government compliance and telecom systems including waves, fiber optics, data voice, etc.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• Proven working experience in network engineering within a telco.
• Knowledge of ONTs, OLTs, Switches, Routers and other Telecommunication equipment.
• Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
• Design and implementation – GPON network (OSP/ISP) and mobile backhaul.
• Industry qualifications e.g. CCNA, Fiber Optics.
• Work promptly in urgent situations and be prepared to handle any interruption of services.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong client facing and communication skills

SALARY PACKAGE:
Negotiable based on qualification and experience.
