Survey, Design and Build of Water Supply and Sewerage Networks in 7 islands and sewerage network in B.Dharavandhoo

INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from Opec Fund for International Development (OFID ) and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the following projects.

2. The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on behalf of the Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure (MNPI), now invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following works.

3. International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with the Public Finance Regulation of Maldives. Qualifications requirements are stated in the Bidding Document.

4. Interested bidders shall registerwith the Ministry of Finance, between 24^th December 2019 to 22 January 2020 between 0830hrs and 1200hrs on all working days,by: (a) payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) or USD 100.00,by cash/cheque at the Ministry of Finance between 0830hrs and 1200hrson all working days, or by electronic transfer to a designated bank account, information of which can be requested through email to [email protected]; and, (b) submitting in person or e-mailing the following information:

Name and Address of the Bidder
Name, e-mail ID and telephone numbers of the Contact Person(s)
Copy of the Payment/Transaction Receipt.

5. A complete set of bidding documents and related documentation is available from 24^th December, 2019 on Ministry of Finance website www.finance.gov.mv for downloading free of cost. The Employer shall not be liable for any information not received by the Bidder. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this Bid.

6. The Bidder shall furnish a Bid Security for each of the project for the amount specified in clause 1 of this Invitation. The Bid Security shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid.

7. Commencing on 30^th March 2019, only a listed member of the National Contractors Registry will be eligible to participate in this tender. Only Contractors who has been qualified for the above mentioned grades will be eligible to participate for this tender.

8. Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to below given e-mail addresses on or before 7^th January 2020, at 1400 hours.

9. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid of Opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance at the address specified in the Clause 8 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 11:00hrs, Maldivian time on 23^rd January 2020, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
