1. The Ministry of Higher Education has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract[1] for the Procurement of Equipment for Maldives Polytechnic.

2.      The Ministry of Higher Education now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for equipment (total 17 items) for Maldives Polytechnic.

3.      Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4.      Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mr. Mohamed Manaan, Procurement Specialist, Email: [email protected], Contact: 9779004/7447203/3026975and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 – 1300 until 30^th March 2020 (Monday) 1300hoursat the address given below.

5.      The bidding document in English can be downloaded by interested Bidders from the gazette page as well as upon the submission of a written application to the address below.

6.      Bids must be delivered or emailed (in PDF form) to the address below on or before 31^st March 2020 (Tuesday) 1300 hours. Late Bids will be rejected.
