    REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST   

 Project Formulation, Master Planning, Design and Transaction Advisory Consultancy for Thilafushi International Port Development Project

The Government of the Republic of Maldives represented by the Ministry of Economic Development, intends to proceed from the Government PSIP Budget for the following services: Project Formulation, Master Planning, Design and Transaction Advisory Consultancy for Thilafushi International Port Development Project and wishes to extend the submission deadline of the Request for Expression of Interest Ref. IUL 13-K/13/2019/43 till March 7^th 2019.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

The main objective of this assignment is to assist the Government in achieving the outcomes set for the project formulation, master planning and designing, procurement and post contracting stages of the project.

The Ministry of Finance now invites eligible international firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide specific information which demonstrates that they are fully qualified to perform the services (background of the firm’s technical expertise, description of any similar assignments undertaken, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, value of those services, etc.).

The Government encourages international firms to submit EOI in partnership with Maldivian firms. This will be considered in short-listing parties.

A firm will be selected in accordance with the Quality-and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS)

A more detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the consultancy services will be available on the Ministry’s website www.finance.gov.mv. Interested firms may obtain further information by writing to the address below. 

Interested Consultancy Firms/ Institutions shall submit their EOI online in accordance with the instructions contained therein or be delivered to the address below by regular mail, emails, no later than 1400 hours Maldivian time on March 7^th , 2019.
