Supply and Delivery of Chemicals and Water Laboratory Equipment to the Water Supply Facility at Addu City

Ministry of Environment and Energy wishes to cancel the advertisement number (IUL)438-OFID/1/2018/14 dated 11^th April 2018 for the Supply and Delivery of Chemicals and Water Laboratory Equipment to the Water Supply Facility at Addu City and re-tender for the project, due to lack of response received from qualified bidders.

1. The Government of the Republic of Maldives has allocated funds towards the cost of Supply and Delivery of Chemicals and Water Laboratory Equipment to the Water Supply Facility at Addu City.

2. The Ministry of Environment and Energy now invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders to Supply and Delivery of Chemicals and Water Laboratory Equipment to the Water Supply Facility at Addu City in accordance with the specifications in the Bidding Document.

3. International competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with the National Tender Board’s Single Stage One envelope bidding procedure.

4. Qualifications requirements are stated in the Bidding Document.

5. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon submission of a written application to the address below not later than 1300 hours on June 24, 2018. A complete set of the Bidding Documents in electronic format shall be available for download from Ministry of Environment and Energy website www.environment.gov.mv.

6. Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to below given mail addresses on or before June 24, 2018 at 1400 hours.

7. The Bidder shall furnish a Bid Security of MVR 8,000 which shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid. The Amount of Performance Security required under the contract shall be 5% of the Contract Price. An Advance Payment of 15% of the contract price shall be provided upon submission of an Advance Payment Guarantee.

8. Bids Shall be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of Bid of Opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Environment and Energy at the address specified in the clause 9 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1300 hours, Maldivian time on June 28, 2018 at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
